The Middle wing at GDGPS organized the Science Week for Class III and IV to give exposure to young Goenkans that aimed at developing scientific temper, spirit of enquiry and love for Science from an early age.

Inspired by the ideology that ‘Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge’, an Inter-class skit competition was organised for the students of class IV on October 16, 2017 where they displayed their imaginative and acting prowess through an absorbing presentation. The events focussed on mass participation to facilitate overcome the stage fright of those students who shy away from active participation in events and activities. The First position was bagged by class IVA followed by class IVC and class IV D securing Second and Third position respectively.

Pollution is one of the biggest threats to our mother Earth. We cannot just sit back and hope that somebody else would do something about pollution. The first step to reduce pollution is to know about it. Inspired by this ideology, an Inter-class Jingle competition was organised for the students of class III on October 24, 2017. The little Goenkans presented spell binding performances that were witnessed and well appreciated by the parents. The coveted First prize was bagged by class III B students who sang to create awareness about the causes and effects of noise pollution. Class III E emphasized on conservation of water, securing Second position while Class III D highlighted health hazards of air pollution and bagged Third position.
