The students of Class VI-A conducted the Morning Assembly on 23 April 2019 on the theme ‘World Book Day’. It commenced with the prayer song, followed by the thought of the day and news update. Students shared information on World Books Day, its history, ways of celebration worldwide and quotes of famous writers and authors.Further, a mesmerizing recitation of a beautiful song – ‘I am Gonna Read a Book Today’ motivated everyone to read books that would hone their language skills and prepare them for a better life. To tickle the brain cells, there was a Quiz buzz wherein the questions related to current affairs and heritage city of the month were asked followed by the National Anthem.
