Class XI celebrated the art of oratory with enthusiastic participation in the Balloon Debate Competition. After rounds of zealous and stupendous performances in the preliminaries, the young debaters grabbed limelight with interesting choice of characters and engrossing introductions in the finals on 18 May 2017. Parents’ presence further proved to be a source of great motivation for the aspiring orators. Samridh Shandilya of 11 E impersonating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stole the show and stood first while Vedang Lata in the role of Pablo Escobar was selected as the best interjector. Trimanjot Anand impersonating Martii Ahtisaari received the Best Debater award while Sparsh Chawla was applauded for his passionate performance.
