To generate consciousness and sensitivity in the young learners of class VI-A, the school organized a visit to “Kamla Bakshi Vanaprastha Ashram” on 17 April’2017. The N.G.O. works for the upliftment of senior citizens. Our students entertained the elderly by singing melodious songs and dancing to its tunes. Together, they cracked jokes and heard the stories narrated by them. The children donated rice, pulses, refined oil, soap, washing powder, towels, toothpastes, toothbrush, etc. It was a great learning experience for them helping them inculcate respect and love for the senior citizens of our society.
