With an endeavor to provide a platform to school leaders to reinvent for mutual sharing, learning and internalizing progressive ideas, The G.D. Goenka Confluence 2018 was held from June 21-23, 2018 at G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna Road, Gurugram.

The three-day session attended by Junior , Middle and Senior School Incharge, commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Nipun Goenka, MD, GD Goenka Group, followed by key note address by Mr. Anil Swarup, IAS, Secretary, School Education MHRD, Govt. of India. The next two sessions were led by Prof. M.M. Pant and Mr. G. Balasubramanian who spoke on ‘Incorporation of Computational Thinking in the age of Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘Managing the Changing Learning Cultures’ respectively.

Day 2 began with a lecture on ‘Spiritual Leadership’ delivered by the spiritual teacher BK Shivani. During the lecture, she said “Success is not the key to happiness; happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” Mr. Premchand Palety, the next speaker, spoke on ‘Foundations of Institution Building’ while Prof. Shantha Kumar and Dr. Raunica Ahluwalia talked about ‘Safety and Security-POCSO’ and ‘Strategic Marketing’ respectively.

The final day of the confluence witnessed informative sessions on ‘Understanding Wellness and Child Motivation’ by DR. V.S. Ravindran and ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ by Dr. Rakshit Tandon.

The event was one-of-its-kind that enlightened the participants with emerging techniques of effective learning and happiness through self actualization.
