“Diwali, the festival of lights, signifies the triumph of good over evil, of righteousness over treachery, of truth over falsehood and of light over darkness”
Diwali was celebrated in the Junior wing with full zest and fervour. Students across the classes Nursery to II, presented a Special Assembly, wherein they dressed up in traditional attire, recited ‘ Laghu Ramayana ‘, sang melodious songs and danced to the tunes of Diwali songs. Together they prayed to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi for good health, wealth, prosperity and success.
They cleaned their classrooms, decorated them beautifully, made creative and colourful rangolis with flower petals and innovative crafts.
The celebration ended with Diwali party wherein they feasted on sumptuous meal and went home with the values to CELEBRATE A CLEAN AND GREEN DIWALI, by avoiding bursting of crackers and lighting earthen diyas rather than the electric lights.
