To kindle the perennial penchant for oratory in the young minds, English Declamation Event for third group of Class III was held on August 4, 2017 in the school premises. Six to seven students each from all the sections of Class III participated in the event and articulated their views on thought provoking topics like ‘If I were a book’, ‘How to be a good listener?’, ‘The world has enough to satisfy everyone’s need but not everyone’s greed’, ‘Junk Food vs. Healthy Food’, ‘God helps those who help themselves’ and ‘My Favourite Personality’. The orators left an indelible mark on the hearts of the audience as they brought out some amazing and interesting details about their topics. The parents of the participants were also a part of the audience and thoroughly enjoyed the presentations.

After going through the rigorous training process of preparation, the students were able to give spell binding performances and succeeded in mesmerising the audience. The valuable feedback of the jury motivated them to perform better in all future events. The event not only gave a platform to the participants for displaying their skills before others, but also gave an insight to the parents to foster their wards’ holistic development of language skills.
