To celebrate Bastille Day and the ideals of ‘Liberté, égalité, fraternité’, a stupendous presentation by enthusiastic French learners was presented on 13 July 2018. They mesmerised the audience with a sensational song, a play and a quiz. The programme began with information about the importance of learning French, followed by a melodious song sung by, Ananya Aggarwal and Ria Verma of classes X E and IX D. To invoke the spirit of the day, a patriotic poem was recited by Raghavendra P S Tomar of X C. A very colourful fashion show by students of Class 10, acquainting the audience with some great historical personalities of France was the highlight of the day .A group of class IX students performed their own version of French Revolution with great expression and enthusiasm. A quiz on French culture concluded the assembly. The show provided a great opportunity to all the French students not only to showcase their prowess in French language, but also to share their knowledge about the French culture and language with their fellow mates and teachers. The assembly proved to be an enlightening yet fun learning opportunity for all.
