Globalization is a fact and the Goenkan vision and philosophy believes in opening global gateways and inspires students to explore beyond their national borders. Keeping with its ideology, the school organised a French cultural extravaganza on November 17, 2017 in collaboration with the French Embassy in India under the theme ‘Bonjour India’.
Three dignitaries, M.Olivier Litvine, attaché for cooperation in French language, Mr. Manu Pandey and Ms.Aarushi Sindia, office for cooperation in French language, education and vocational training graced the occasion with their benign presence in the school.
A plethora of activities were conducted for the students of classes V- X to give them an exposure to French culture and language. Bookmark Designing activity on the theme ‘France’ was organised for class V, T-Shirt Designing on the theme ‘Clean India’ for class VI, French Quiz for class VII, preparation of French Cuisine for class VIII and Theatre and Dance presentation for class IX.
The guests were highly gratified to see the enthusiastic participation of students in various activities. A splendid cultural show by French students unveiling the beautiful land of French and its culture left everyone in awe. It was also a very enriching and motivating experience for the students as it enhanced their interest towards the language.
