It has been 70 years since the stroke of the midnight hour through which the world slept and India woke to life and freedom and when India chose a dangerous freedom over a peaceful slavery. On 11th August our school celebrated the 70th Independence Day of India. The celebration started with the Indian music presentation of the song Vande Bharat Mataram which invoked the feeling of patriotism. Thereafter the Chairman Sir Mr.Vipul Garg enlightened the audience with his words of wisdom. School Principal, Ms. Ritu Pathak’s address about the strengths of ‘New India’ brought about a new hope for the society. A phenomenal mime act which presented a comparison between the Indian soldiers and the Indian cricket team mesmerised the audience.
