To celebrate the International Day for Monuments and Sites, a model making competition was organized at the statuesque Purana Quila, where students from various schools were to build a replica of a UNESCO approved heritage monument or site, by the use of biodegradable waste materials. Our school, competing with 33 others, took home the 2nd prize. The judges from UNESCO praised the intricacies of the group’s model of the ‘Red Fort’, appreciating the detailing and the clever usage of different kinds of material, along with the model’s similarity to the original.
