The students of class VI-B embarked on a community service session to once again uphold the values of humanity and to promote brotherhood in the society.

The children received a warm welcome from the staff and students of the host school, Rashtriya Pragya Drishti Sansthan, Sector-20, Rohini. Our students got ample time to interact with the blind members of the organization. During the interaction, they learnt about Braille methods, operation of mobile phones, laptop and their different learning styles. It was astonishing to see the blind students operate the mobile phone with great ease and play with a different kind of cricket ball. Singing songs in unison brought the two groups close to each other.

The experience was worth cherishing for the students. Their myths about the blind being helpless and dependent were broken and they were inspired by the strength and courage possessed by the visually impaired people in facing challenges of life.
