The festival of ‘Lohri’ encompasses ‘a flame to burn all the sorrows and a fire to kill all the darkness’. It spreads happiness, cheer and good health.
Students of Junior Wing celebrated the festival of Lohri with great zest and zeal. A special assembly was presented by the students of Class II wherein they recited a ‘shabad’, followed by Lohri songs. Sohalia Sobti of Class II A presented a solo Punjabi dance to elevate the spirit of the festival. Children offered popcorns, rewari and peanuts in the bonfire and prayed for their good health, education, happiness and wisdom and danced on peppy music.
