Reaffirming the school’s commitment to provide quality education and develop responsible partners in the learning process, an ‘Orientation Session’ was organized for the parents whose wards are studying in classes VI-VII on April 22, 2017. The informative and interactive session threw light on significant facets of their ward’s education at school such as maintenance of almanac, discipline, proper uniform, punctuality, regularity, learning modules, blog updates, modified assessment pattern, healthy eating habits etc. for the session ahead. They were familiarized with the extensive range of activities undertaken in Practice Slot, celebration of subject related weeks and other co-curricular pursuits and events included as an integral part of the curriculum. The school faculty also apprised the parents of the latest pedagogical innovations in various subjects and the continuous monitoring of the student’s progress through non-formal methods such as assignments, projects, surveys, quizzes, research work, classroom participation etc. A handful of tips were given to them to help their children do well academically and emotionally.

The session proved insightful in setting the tone at the onset of the academic session as the takeaway for them was that parents and teachers should work in close tandem to achieve the goal of academic excellence and grooming of well defined personalities.
