‘Astronomy is the science of the harmony of infinite expanse.’

Sally Ride ISS EarthKAM is an international educational programme of NASA through which the students can receive stunning images of Earth from a digital camera mounted at a nadir pointing window in the International Space Station (ISS). This programme was started by Dr Sally Ride, the first American woman in space and was originally called kidSat. This was EarthKAM’s 65th week-long mission and the ‘First’ of 2019!  A total of 20 students from grades VI-VIII actively participated in this mission from February 19 – February 25, 2019, with an enthralling experience of imaging Earth from a unique perspective of space.
