With a belief in extending experiential learning, a workshop on Stock market and Investment was arranged for the students of class XI on November 22, 2017 for which they were taken to the office of the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE at Rajendra place. The programme commenced with a power point presentation on types of investment in the stock market, their utility and involved risks by the resource person. An extensive discussion proceeded alongside. Students enthusiastically raised questions pertaining to the topic in consideration. Post refreshment break, students were given a peep into the virtual world of the Stock market through installed software where they could see how shares could be transacted. The workshop was well managed and proved quite fruitful for our budding entrepreneurs.
