A special assembly marking the celebration of ‘Amalgam’ – the Science Week was conducted on August 17, 2017 by Class IV C. It commenced with the Morning Prayer, “Where the Mind is Without Fear” steering the mind towards selfless thoughts and everlasting action. It was followed by the invocation of the omnipresent and omniscient Almighty with an English prayer song. The assembly emphatically brought forth the truth that science and everyday life cannot be separated. An impressive presentation showcasing how the wonders of science have eased our daily life was delivered by the students using appropriate props. It was followed by a short skit showcasing an encounter with an alien and conveying the message of environmental preservation. The assembly concluded with Quiz buzz ahead of the National Anthem.
