Nitya Khurana and Vaishali Rathore of class VII along with Science faculty- Ms. Preeti Sharma, attended the ‘Bird Nest Making Workshop’ organised by De Indian Public School, Rohini on November 30, 2019. The resource person- Mr. Rakesh Khatri, a renowned film maker and environmentalist, apprised the students about the dwindling number of sparrows and the need to save the species and its habitat. The learners made a nest for sparrow using material like bamboo sticks, cloth, jute, rope, etc. thereby showcasing their responsible behaviour towards the fauna of the country.
