“We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.”

As part of Community Service Program, a group of four student volunteers from class VII visited “Grace- A Home away from Home”, in association with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Rohini on May 18, 2017. It was a distinguished opportunity to share their love, warmth and feelings with the cancer patients.

The program commenced with an introductory session followed by art and craft work done together by Goenkans and the enthusiastic cancer patients. The students felt delighted in narrating short stories and dancing with them. During interaction, the students could feel the pain and struggle of the cancer patients who were of very young age (2 yrs – 20 yrs.) They also gifted eatables and stationery items as a token of love and affection.

Overall it was a new, happy, memorable and interesting experience for the students.
