“Paradise or paradise lost? Your effort is what it will cost, To keep our precious earth clean, By living a lifestyle that’s green.”

On the occasion of Earth Day, an array of creative activities were organized to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. With the objective of imbibing in the students the respect for nature and to generate awareness concerning the conservation of the planet, ‘The Journalist – Live from Bhutan’ activity was organised for classes III-V with great zest and vigour. The day witnessed enthralling and exuberant activities which were euphorically attended by the students.

‘Be a Reporter activity’ gave our students an opportunity to play the role of young environment reporters and these little inquisitive journalists compiled interesting reports on various environmental issues. They used this opportunity effectively not only to express their thoughts but also to enhance their oratory skills. The involvement of students showed that the need to raise awareness about environmental issues is well understood by all and children too can make a significant contribution in saving the environment. It is the right time for children to learn about the environment, how they can preserve it.
