Puri’s famous ‘Lord Jagannath Temple’ holds a prominent place of importance for devotees. It is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites in India and is also well known for the annual chariot festival or ‘Rath Yatra’.

Children of classes 3 -5 were enlightened about this famous temple during the Q Connect Session. They were introduced to our rich cultural heritage. The students were fascinated to know about the mysteries associated with the temple that defy any scientific explanation. They enthusiastically participated in quizzes and showcased their creative side by drawing beautiful pictures of Lord Jagannath. They solved a quiz based on lord Jagannath temple in Odisha based on the knowledge and facts they were shared with in the previous session.

They were shown live videos of animals in their natural habitats, based on which a discussion was made on what unique characteristics they noticed. The students were fascinated, and unanimously supported the idea of animals being kept in their habitats instead of zoos.
