Happiness comes from creative efforts. The joy of dreaming, creating and expressing your thoughts by drawing and painting is unparalleled. The famous painter Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist”.
Keeping the same in mind and to explore the creative potentials in the young minds of the students, a Drawing Competition was organised for classes VI-VIII on the occasion of Children’s Day by ‘Hamaraa Mission Dignity’, an NGO working on Education, Hunger, Elderly People and Child exploitation. The competition witnessed creativity exploding in every piece of art as the students displayed their vivid ideas on the canvas.
Ananya Jain of class VIII E bagged the First prize while the Second and Third Prize were awarded to Aarohi Gupta of class VI D and Tanisha Jain of class VII C respectively. The winners were felicitated in a special ceremony held on 22nd November, 2018 in the presence of Ms. Neena Goel, Chairperson and Ms. Sanya Sikri, General Secretary of ‘Hamaraa Mission Dignity’. All the participants were awarded with a certificate for their active participation in the competition.
