WORLD POPULATION DAY

“It is pointless to complain about the problems of the world as long as we continue contributing to them.”
Each day brings new challenges and hurdles in our life and we struggle to overcome these challenges in order to brighten our future. In order to address the greater challenge of the ever growing population, Class IX B conducted the assembly to mark the ‘World Population Day’. Facts regarding the day were shared. An enactment probing into the challenges posed by exponentially growing population was presented. The focus points of discussion included food shortage, unemployment and increasing crime rate.

This was followed by a quiz based on general awareness.

Rendition of the National Anthem brought the assembly to a close.
