To enable class XI students to understand gender equality and the significance of POCSO Act in this regard, a counselling session was conducted by the school counselor on 27 November 2019. Discussion and active participation of students wherein they shared their everyday life experiences ensured that the learning process is accelerated. The importance of the role played by educators and students in ensuring the rights and safety of children in a school is fundamental in grooming them into responsible and self-aware citizens. Another POCSO workshop was organised in the same regard by the School Counsellor on 23 November 2019 for the students to raise awareness regarding the need to develop mutual respect for each other and for preserving the rights of students against any form of mental or physical abuse.
