`Everything is theoretically impossible until done.’

Young researchers of Grades III-V enjoyed a plethora of activities during the Science Worms week. It was a learning experience for one and all.

On Day-1, the students enjoyed creating lungs model using everyday material to explore the inhalation/exhalation process that occurs in the lungs during respiration. Followed by 3D virtual tour of lungs, they also practised breath holding which helps in improving the lung capacity. Our budding scientists were also introduced to the concept of acids and they tested acidity / basicity in substances picked from their homes. This was followed by designing a magical greeting card using scientific background of turmeric changing its colour with detergent solution. They learnt the importance of using waste material to form something constructive.

They had a real fun time in constructing their tallest towers. It was a treat to our eyes to observe our little munchkins perform so well and construct such amazing pieces using only newspaper and cello tape.
