“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

An activity based on sports and language integration was conducted at G.D. Goenka Public School on 20th September 22. There were three games organized for the students. The first game was ‘Sentence-o- mania’ where in, the students weaved their own sentences from the jumbled words placed on different rings. The children had fun as they learned to form sentences integrated with games. The second game was ‘Drib spell’ wherein the children recited the spellings of literary words while bouncing the basketball. T

he sporting activity ensures that children muscle their way in a competitive spirit and learn to work as a team, accommodate and assimilate with others and develop their physical capacity for endurance. The fun- filled activities helped the students to bring some novelty to their vocabulary words and allowed them to give expression to their creative talents. Another astounding experience has been added to our Goenkans’ hat.
