In order that modern-day education achieves its goal of making its students ‘AI Ready’, it is imperative to enlighten the educators about AI integration in education and equip them with effective AI pedagogical tools and practices.

Keeping this in view, a webinar on ‘AI integration into School Curriculum and ICT tools’ was conducted for English faculty of the school by Ms. Monika Gupta & Ms. Swati Kapoor on Microsoft teams. The webinar acquainted the participants with artificial intelligence as an emerging field of study and its usage as a pedagogical support for experiential learning.

The resource persons also threw light upon different components of artificial intelligence and how artificial intelligence tools are different from ICT tools. Several ICT tools like Padlet, Kahoot, Blooklet, Flipgrid, Mentimeter, Nearpod, Quizizz, Pickerwheel, etc. were discussed during the webinar.

The participants were also equipped with some interesting artificial intelligence tools which could be used as a part of multi-disciplinary integrated pedagogical approach to further enhance teaching and learning across classes III-XII. A hands-on training was given on the usage of web applications like Semantris, Rock-Paper-Scissors, Akinator, Mystery Animal and Poem Portraits. The workshop proved to be highly beneficial as it focused on how to embed artificial intelligence in the curriculum in an innovative and exciting way.
