A Webinar on ‘Mindfulness & Well-being’ was conducted for Junior, Middle and Senior School teachers by Professor Megha Kochhar from IILM University, Gurugram.

The workshop revolved around how one can practice ‘Mindfulness’ to enhance one’s efficiency and effectiveness, to be able to balance growing expectations and lead a happy life. Ms. Megha Kochhar being a behavioural expert and having over 10 years of experience in career profiling and guided counselling, started the session with a discussion on stressful life in the current times and importance of mindfulness which is nothing but a mind game. Four golden rules of practising mindfulness were also shared.

The session continued with an activity wherein all the participants were guided into activating their five senses and share their experience with each other. The resource person also gave some fruitful suggestions to combat stress and negativity in life. She emphasised upon the need for mindfulness training to cure multiple problems that one faces in day-to-day life. The session concluded with mindfulness meditation which made everyone peaceful and calm. The participants felt optimistic and focused on the changes that they wanted to make to their lifestyle.
