MESSAGE FROM THE TEACHERS

“The Future Belongs To The Competent. Get Good, Get

         Better, Be The Best!”
                                                     – Brian Tracy

                                                     Be the Best

Life is a constant struggle that puts you through test each day. There are many who

strive hard and make a benchmark for themselves. But after tasting the ambrosial
success and achieving little feats in their lives they often become complacent. And this

leads to seeping in of stagnation. Hence, for each one of us, it is imperative to keep

flowing like a chattering and babbling brook. The whirl of life should keep going with the
unflinching spirit and desire to exceed one’s own limits. It is imperative for each one of

us to keep chiseling our skills and work with dexterity to supersede our own selves.
As dynamic individuals, it should be our prerogative to constantly compete with our own
of skills and keep striving to improvise them. We should work tirelessly to be a
         set
productive part of this competitive world and with each passing moment try to contribute

to the society we live in. Instead of blindly participating in the rat race, we should try to

do better than our previous performance and outshine our own selves, may it be any
         field.

         Hence, keep striving! Keep shinning!
         Ms. Bhavneet Kaur

“A caterpillar who seeks to know himself would never
          become a butterfly.”

                                                            Andre Gide

The Oracle at Delphi continues to be one of the most enchanting Greek myths. The town of Delphi

became a sacrosanct place when Zeus, trying to find the centre of the Universe, observed that the
two exquisite eagles flying in opposite direction, interact with each other at this very location.

Since then, Delphi, as we know it became the centre of the universe, especially for the sacred
discovery of oneself. As the legend dictates, the high priestess, Pythia, would sit here, at the

temple on Mount Parnassus, revealing what the Gods had decided for mortals. This revelation

was cryptic but once unravelled, would turn out to be true. At the Oracle, each revelation could
easily be considered a treatise in philosophy; the most significant commandment chiseled at the

          Oracle being, "Know Thyself".
For a generation that is struggling to seek knowledge in the world bombarded with facts and
          co
unter-facts, the seekers of knowledge are often led easily astray by not the pronounced
absence, but the emphatic presence of it. Knowing oneself is an important reflective exercise

then; consider this, what can you really know if not your own self? Amongst all tasks that you

need to accomplish and the roads you need to traverse, remember to take a minute to gaze at the
          sky of your own making.

Perhaps one gateway to your self is observation of your own self- to continue moving with the
rhythm of life and its beauty. Leading busier lives these days, with a gazillion tasks to
           .
accomplish, let us remember to take a minute to prepare ourselves better for the future that
awaits us- by allowing ourselves to live in the present fully, we pave way for an iridescent future.

The divine prophecy has maintained its clutches on the claim of validity, "Know Thyself" is

indeed an important reminder; another important one being, experience thyself.
