ENVIRONMENT SENSITIZATION

SINGLE USE PLASTICS BREAKUP : ENKINDLING ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS

As a response to initiative taken by our honourable Prime Minister to make India Plastic free,
Fever 104 Fm started its Bharat Positive initiative
#SingleUsePlasticSeBreakUp Fever FM
organised an event where selected people from the cross section of the society came

together to pledge to break up from use of Single use plastic.
Iconic Cricketer Gautam Gambhir graced the occasion.

The Goenkans actively participated in a discussion on how the country can be a Plastic Free
nation and put forth their views about not using plastic water bottles and making it

mandatory for the students to carry steel bottles to schools.
Taking ahead the ideology that our honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi

announced- 'Single Use Plastic Free Nation', the ever zealous Goenkans made various
attempts to put their steps forward to sensitize the concern are now flashing on Page 3 and

are shining all over.

Being a part of the 'Bharat Positive Initiative' conducted at Select City Walk, Saket on October
1, 2019, with the cricket sensation, Gautam Gambhir, the young Goenkans, Gautam, Jenit and

Reva ardently expressed their thoughts and ideas that how our nation can be a plastic free
na tion. The students received applause in abundance for their enthusiasm and energy.

SWACHH YAMUNA CAMPAIGN

In order to pay real tribute to the legendary pioneer’s dream of Clean India on the

occasion of his 150th birth anniversary, a team of 30 Students and 5 teachers of G D
Goenka Public School felt privileged to conduct a cleanliness campaign, ‘Swachh

Yamuna Campaign’ at Sonia Vihar Ghat Delhi, on 1st October 2019. As a part of this
phenomenal task to clean Yamuna, young Goenkans developed more appreciation of

Gandhi Ji and his ideals. Shouting slogans of conserving nature and cleaning Yamuna,
all students joined hands in carrying forward the rich legacy of togetherness.

Thousands lived without LOVE but none with lived without water.
