The new members of the Goenkan family, that is, all new admissions of the middle school were accorded a heartening welcome amidst the beautifully and attractively decorated school campus. The day began with a brief induction followed by scintillating sessions at different activity venues. The theatrical session at Performing Arts Room commenced with ice-breaker activities, followed by general introduction to the theatre and diverse theatre activities such as ‘walking exercise’, ‘passing the energy to each other’, etc. The session at ‘Indian Dance Room’ acquainted the students with Indian dance forms and the facilitator demonstrated varied Mudras (hand gestures), leg movements and steps of folk dance.
