The School held its annual Hindi week ‘Prakhar’ for the Middle wing students from August 21 to August 24, 2017.The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation during the week with a series of Inter Class events. To inculcate love for our mother tongue special emphasis was laid on developing language skills with focus on oration.
All the students from Classes III, IV, VI and VII had got a chance to participate in the preliminary round conducted within their respective classes. In the final round held during the week, the students of Class III participated in Character Enactment based on the lives of famous freedom fighters and mesmerized the audience with their creative perspective. The students of class IV enthralled everyone with their finesse in Story Narration Competition as they narrated some of the most interesting and value-based stories of Premchand as one of the characters of the story.
The recitation of satirical poems on contemporary issues like corruption, cleanliness, politics, etc. by class VI students made the audience burst into peals of laughter. Class VII students too won the hearts of the audience by expressing their powerful ideas and opinions in the speech competition.
The parents of the participants also attended the competition to motivate the little wonders. At the culmination of the event, feedback on the performances was given followed by an address by the Middle Wing Incharge in which she appreciated the efforts of the students, their parents as well as teachers.
