CHILD LABOUR
Child labour is one of the most famous topics prevailing on social networking sites
these days .Children are an asset for every country and they must be treated well
and not the way they are being treated. They are the future of the country; any
country should utilise them by educating them and making them capable of doing
something good for their nation. Developing countries consider them as liabilities
and make them work all day long in urge of earning more money. These people
exploit the future of the country. And eventually they threaten the social economic
development of the country. They not only snatch the assets of the country but also
deprive a child’s childhood from him.The growth and prosperity of a nation lies in
the hands of its children. Children from socially and economically weak
backgrounds must be encouraged to join the mainstream. Ample opportunities to
promote their innate talents should be the order of the day. We, as teenagers, can
also contribute in million little ways. Think, dear readers, can we not, for half an
hour a day, train the domestic help with skills or basic literacy that would make
them more confident and self reliant? What if we volunteer ourselves for educating
slum children and even their illiterate parents! Holding awareness presentations in
groups for the not so privileged would be a brilliant idea. After all every drop in the
ocean counts. By following these and other ways, together, we all can turn children
into better beings !Let us initiate the first step. Starting this Sunday, eh?

TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK
Each person’s profession determines the type of persona he/she exhibits. Today I’m
going to shed some light on how we are influenced by the small jobs and services which
are offered to us. When we see someone mopping the floor, why do we refer to them as
sweepers? Why not call them “Cleanliness Ambassadors?” Each of the cleaniness staff,
the support staff, the peons, the nannies, the house keeping, whosoever contributes to the
development of our school, even if the work he/she renders is of miniscule nature, must
be accorded deep gratitude. Ever wondered what kind of struggle a person must have
gone through or must be undergoing that made him opt such a livelihood? But sadly we
never see as to how we can learn from them. Remember that all are born same; no one is
born successful, We all opt for our lifestyle according to the circumstances we are put in.
For me no work is petty work. Each and every person contributes with eminence to the
growth of the organization. Without them the daily functioning of the school would get
disrupted.
Let's talk about the lab technicians at our school. Can you imagine that without them
present how difficult it would be for us to conduct the experiments? They give us the real
practical knowledge that enables us to operate the appratus with ease. All the lab
equipment remains in mint condition for us to use just because they do their job sincerely.
So, my point is that we can acquire sense of responsibility, sincerity, dedication and
punctuality that they exhibit. Lot more to write but I would like this leave this thought with
you so you also get a chance to correlate and admire many such patterns of our school.
