Delhi State Roller Skating Championship; November 8, 2021

“If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride and never quit, you’ll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.”

Goenkan sports enthusiasts brought laurels to the school by putting up a phenomenal performance in the Delhi State Roller Skating Championship, held on 21 and 23 October 2021 at G.R International School, Pooth Khurd, New Delhi. Pakhi Bisht of class V-E won the Silver medal in 1000 metres and Bronze medal in 500 metres. Mehul Aggarwal of class V-E secured the Fourth position in one Lap and won a Silver medal in 500 metres. Saksham Aggarwal of class II A secured the Fourth position in 1 lap.

WTT Youth Contender tournament; November 11, 2021

‘There’s only one way to succeed at anything and that is to give it everything.’ – Vince Lombardi

Prisha Goel of Grade VII nailed it once again by winning the under 13 girls’ singles title at WTT Youth Contender tournament in Szombathely, Hungary. With an intense focus and determination, the young sports star clinched the Gold Medal while representing India in the coveted event, held from November 1-7, 2021. The school appreciates and congratulates the champion player for such a grand achievement.

All India Open Skating Tournament; November 17, 2021

“What does it take to be a champion? Desire, dedication, determination, concentration and the will to win.”

Living in the true spirit of hard work and consistency, Aashwik Maggu of Class I won the Second Position while Atharv Garg of Class I and Rushil Sharma of Class VI bagged the Third Position in All India Open Skating Tournament conducted by Skating K. King at Saket Sports Complex, New Delhi. We are extremely proud of their talent and wish them immense success.

National-level Online Slogan Writing Competition; November 22, 2021

“Imagine with all your mind, believe with all your heart, achieve with all your might!”

Vasuh Gupta, Grade IX student made it to the top among all the participants by securing First Position in National- level Online Slogan Writing Competition organised by Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India on the occasion of World Environment Day. The young Goenkan unleashed his creative thoughts and ideas on the topic ‘Man and Nature’ to encourage awareness and action to protect our environment. Vasuh’s glistening accomplishment adds yet another milestone to the achievements of talented enthusiasts budding at G.D. Goenka Public School, Sector-22, Rohini.

Mole Day- Inter-School Event; November 26, 2021

Shaurya Chadha, Grade IX student performed excellently and bagged the Second Position in ‘The E-Portfolio’ event conducted by Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini. Heartiest Congratulations to the proud winner for putting in arduous efforts and displaying a remarkable performance!

Delhi Roller Skating Carnival; December 5, 2021

“Everyone has the fire, but the champions know when to ignite the spark.”

Our blooming talent ‘Aashwik Maggu’ of Class I-A and ‘Atharv Garg’ of Class I-B added to the pride of the school by bagging First and Second Position respectively in the Delhi Roller Skating Carnival held on December 5, 2021. The zest and vigour with which our young sports enthusiasts vied with fellow contestants and won the competition is commendable!

International Hindi Olympiad; December 8, 2021

It has been rightly said that determination and diligence do not wait for an opportunity to let them out of locked doors. The sheer grit and perseverance of Vasuh Gupta has proved just that. We feel proud at the remarkable achievement of our meritorious student as he bagged the Third Position and won a Bronze medal in International Hindi Olympiad organised by Hindi Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi. We congratulate our scholar for the well-deserved glory and for persistence that has empowered his efforts.

Delhi State Kickboxing Championship; December 15, 2021

“Success isn’t about greatness, but hard work and determination.”

The talented Goenkans claimed victory in Delhi State Kickboxing Championship 2021 proving that persistence and determination are a sure way to success and glory. While Tanush Gupta from Grade XI and Avani Agarwal from Grade VIII won a Gold medal, Arnav Agarwal from Grade VI won a Silver Medal and Keshav Goel from Grade XI won a Bronze Medal in the prestigious tournament, organised by WAKO Delhi Kickboxing Organization on 4th and 5th December 2021. Their achievements are inspiring and appreciated by the Goenkan fraternity.

UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championship; December 20-26, 2021

“Winners don’t wait for chances, they take them.”

Prisha Goel of Grade VII brought laurels to the school by securing Third Position in Youth Girls Single (U-13) at the UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships (South Zone) held in Pondicherry from 20th- 26th December 2021. Heartiest congratulations to the proud achiever!

Living in the true spirit of hard work and consistency, Saniya Gupta of XII C bagged First Position in ‘Juice and Sip Activity’ and Vasuh Gupta of IX B won Second Position in ‘2-Minute Science Activity’ in the online competition conducted by Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan, New Delhi.

Fantasia: Inter-School Festival; August 23, 2021

In her unceasing quest to achieve excellence, Shanaya Singhal of class IV B brought accolades to the school by securing seventh position in class IV category scoring 5895 stars in 8th GESS 2021 associated activity and being a part of Junior Mathematics Championship powered by MATIFIC- – one of the biggest Online Maths Competition!

Annual Inter-School Competition; August 26, 2021

Effervescent Goenkans participated in Annual Inter-School Competition organized by St. Xavier’s School with an endeavour to provide a platform to the blossoming talents, thereby galvanizing the alacrity and nurturing their intrinsic talent in a resplendent manner. Harshil Raheja of VIII C bagged First Position in ‘Charitra Abhinay’ and Ananya Kumra, Nishka Gupta and Shreya Jain of VIII C won Third Position in ‘Movie Making’ Competition.

Spandan: Inter-School Event; August 28,2021

Brimming with confidence, gritty Goenkans made a mark at SPANDAN- an online Inter-School Event conducted by Red Roses Public School, Saket. Ananya Kumra of VIII A bagged First Position in ‘Sanvad Vachan’ and Shanaya Chaudhary of II C and Aviraaj Savara of KG C got Consolation Prize in ‘Shadow Puppetry’ and ‘Nanhe Scientists’ respectively.

Our talented Goenkan, Arnav Aggarwal of VI B participated in online Global Quiz on the theme ‘Flora/Fauna & Pollution and Water treatment technology’ in Ganga Quest 2021 and won a meritorious position amongst TOP 25 winners. His hard work and perseverance that enabled him to achieve this remarkable feat is commendable.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan-Science Talent Search; July 14, 2021

Talent and toil know no territorial boundaries. This was aptly proved by Vasuh Gupta (IX B) who won a certificate of merit for his outstanding performance in EAT RIGHT: Nation Wide Mega Science Experiment of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan – India’s largest Science Talent Search for New India Using Digital Devices 2020-21. We congratulate the champion on this glorious accomplishment.

Gizmos Virtual Championship; July 16, 2021

Gritty Goenkans added another feather to their cap and pridefully brought laurels to School through their stellar performance in Gizmos Virtual Championship, 2020-21. Shanaya Singhal of Grade IV-B and Harshita Jaiswal of Grade X-C won First Position in Category 1 and Category 3 respectively at National Level of the Championship. We congratulate our meritorious students and their mentors Ms. Sakshi Gurha and Ms. Varsha Kukreja on their stupendous success.

India Today Young Masters Quiz; July 22, 2021

“The roadway to success can only be mapped through perseverance and relentless dedication.”

The School set a new benchmark by securing the First Position in India Today Young Masters Quiz, the grand National level Inter school Quiz Contest which was hosted through multiple rounds. The school team won great appreciation for their impeccable performance in the finale from the renowned anchor, Mr Rajdeep Sardesai, who conducted the final round. Felicitations to the team!

Eco-Fest’s Poster Making Contest; July 29, 2021

The School is proud to recognize the active participation of one of its many exuberant students, Vasuh Gupta (IX B) in the Eco-Champs programme that empowers school children to become environmentally responsible. His outstanding performance in Eco-Fest’s Poster Making Contest bagged him First Prize in the coveted event. Such commendable achievement deserves appreciation and sets exemplary landmark for others to follow.

GC International Mathematics Olympiad; July 29, 2021

Mayank Bansal of Class II-E was awarded the certificate of Genius by GC International Mathematics Olympiad for Level-1. His outstanding performance in the Olympiad conducted by the Genius Cerebrum, USA brought laurels to the school and made each one of us proud.
