'Tejas: The Goenkan Sports Spectacle' 1.0 made the school portals buzz with excitement as students from all Classes showcased their athletic prowess during an array of events amidst spirited cheerleaders and supportive spectators on different days assigned to Classes Nursery to II, Classes III to V, Classes VI to VIII and Classes IX to XII to ensure maximum participation. The colourful opening ceremony on each day marked by a parade of athletes, set the tone for unity in diversity. Track and field competitions, including judo, taekwondo, sprints, hurdles, relays, aerobics, hoopla drill, skating and lawn tennis, showcased diverse talents. Spectators witnessed breathtaking displays of speed and agility, exceptional teamwork, and remarkable feats of strength and technique. Parent races and team-building activities added a fun element.

Tejas 1.0 witnessed determination of the young sporting stalwarts who plunged into action celebrating this grand journey of athleticism, camaraderie, and boundless achievement. Other events like shuttle races, 400 mt. races, broad jump and relay races drew thunderous applause from the spectators. Exhilaration and the sweetness of victory were written down on the faces of participants as Teresa House clenched the Best House Trophy. The ‘Young Mommies Races’ and the “Doting Dads Races’, thoroughly enjoyed by parents and students alike, became the highlights of the event. The Goenkan Trailblazers – the brochure that celebrates the extraordinary feats and indomitable spirits of our athletes in the international and national arena was also released on the occasion.
