ENCANTO: Embracing Talents, Embracing Joy - The Spirit of Encanto Comes Alive!

The much-awaited Junior School Annual Concert, themed Encanto, was held on October 26, 2024, at G.D Goenka Public School, Sector 22, Rohini, leaving everyone enchanted by a magical celebration of talent, joy, and teamwork.

The Annual Concert started with a dynamic and high-energy performance of the song “Believer” by the Middle School Band, featuring a full student orchestra including guitars, drums, pianos, and other instruments, showcasing the immense musical talent of our students. 

Followed by an insightful narrative presented by Madam Principal, Dr. Vandana Gupta encapsulating the extraordinary journey of the Term 1, highlighting key accomplishments, events, and milestones.

Inspired by the beloved animated movie, a Harmonic Showcase of Encanto – A Dance – Theatre Spectacle featured heartwarming performances by students from Pre-School to Class II. The stage came alive with vibrant costumes, soulful music, and engaging live dialogues, creating an atmosphere filled with wonder and excitement.

The highlight of the event was a beautifully simplified retelling of Encanto, where every child had a role to play. From charming dances to touching scenes, the young performers conveyed the message of embracing one’s unique talents and the importance of family love.

The energy of the children was contagious as they sang and danced to familiar tunes from the movie, charming the audience with their enthusiasm. Parents were thrilled to see their little ones showcase their creativity, confidence, and teamwork. “Seeing our children perform so confidently on such a grand stage was truly heartwarming,” said one parent.

The grand finale, with all the students and teachers dancing together, ended the evening on a high note, leaving the audience cheering and applauding the young stars.
